The Flatiron LEGO Store had a special anniversary event, and I was lucky enough to be one of the winners of the LEGO Apple Hunt. On top of that, I was one of four grand prize winners! I won an exclusive LEGO experience with Master Builders and received some special promotional sets, made by LEGO just for us!
The whole experience was a lot of fun. The Apple Hunt itself was essentially a raffle. We got there early and waited in line for our ticket. I was one of the few selected and got an amazing prize pack that included a LEGO Brand Retail Store and a $50 gift card.
I won things!
At the store, I was told that I was also a grand prize winner! That’s what the certificate is for. The special LEGO event would come a few months from then. When that day finally came, we showed up at the LEGO Store to see what was planned for us.
We were shown some model design software and pixelated photos of ourselves to be turned into LEGO portraits.
We helped build a model for the store.
We all had special minifigures and promotional sets created just for us!

LEGO Wooden Duck
This promotional set was based on the first toy created by LEGO, a wooden toy duck.
LEGO Nexo Knights
This special promotional set was made to promote the new Nexo Knights theme and included a plate with our names etched into it.
