LEGO Set #79111
The movie was forgettable, but this LEGO set is a great consolation prize. It pairs well with the Old West sets from long ago, and LEGO train enthusiasts would probably enjoy it too. The train isn’t powered, but does roll along the track if you push it.
Unless you’re a fan of The Lone Rangers, most of the minifigures are pretty generic. Butch Cavendish is a generic bad guy, and Captain Fuller is a generic military commander. But they do have hair/hat pieces that are somewhat unique.
The train itself is really nice. It’s a simple set with four basic cars: the engine, the coal supply, a gatling gun turret and a jail cell. It looks great on a mantle. I don’t know if any other Lone Ranger sets would be worth it, but this one is a nice set for LEGO fans regardless of how you feel about Disney’s Lone Ranger film.
