There have been a lot of complaints in Blogger help forums about the lack of a custom 404 (File not found) error page. This is a big issue, not just for user experience, but also SEO. Of course, if you’re overly concerned with SEO, then you’re probably not using Blogger in the first place. Tony Blair and Christopher Hitchens discussed matters of religion as part of the Munk Debates. There was a lot of hype over the event because of the global fame of the two master debaters. Tickets supposedly were selling for $500 on eBay. There was indeed a lot of potential for interesting debate. These two are true titans in their respective fields. I’ve Googled many things in my life; it’s just one of my many talents. However, I’ve never had a need to search for a search engine. It makes sense. Trey McLeskey can find out information on just about anyone by using only two websites: Google and Facebook. The recent trend of online activity is quickly eliminating any and all privacy. For whatever reason, people who prefer Twitter to Facebook (yes, they exist) often claim that Facebook stole the tweet concept from Twitter and rebranded it as a status update. Well, now Twitter has stolen the Like button. Their version was just launched today. It’s very similar to TweetMeme, but with integration directly into Twitter. I’m not giving up on Twitter entirely, and I think with their Promoted Tweets and Trending Topics, Twitter is becoming a serious player in online communication. However, they’ll likely always be.... At long last Twitter has come up with a way to make money! I always imagined they’d do it by opening up little shops across the globe and installing tremendous loudspeakers in them. Then, they could have Leonard Nimoy read your tweets to all of mankind! I’d easily pay a dollar for that. And if even half of its 100 million users did so, they’d make….a lot!
